Is ASSAR an Insurance company?
No. ASSAR, or the Association of Rwandan Insurers, serves as a consultative and advisory organization for Rwanda’s insurance sector. The country hosts 12 officially licensed private insurance providers.
ASSAR is responsible for promoting cooperation among its members, protecting and prompting the members’ common interests, raising awareness about insurance, market research, and capacity building.

Rwanda offers diverse insurance options including motor, health, life, property, and specialized agricultural insurance.
